I googled food near me. Cause I was unloading at the whole foods and this place came up. So I decided to go for a walk to try it out. And honestly it was a very good decision. There food is just stupendous and delicious. Ordered me some mini tacos of pastor. There the bomd. There's service was fonaminal as well to. Friendly people all around. Then still got me burrito to go fatty. Wouldn't mind going again at all.

Absolutely some of the best Mexican food I have had in Austin! The chicken mole enchiladas were so delicious. You could taste the love that went into the sauce. The babacoa taco on the home made corn tortilla. Delicious!

I had been to the other location once and it had been a good experience. Today, I visited the original location with my adult kids and three friends visiting from Germany. Like the other location, the simple and forgettable exterior belies a terrific gem of a restaurant. The service (by Jocelyn) was very friendly and prompt and all the orders were correctly handled (even with special requests). The food was terrific, everyone enjoyed it immensely.

The food here at this location has a very delicious flavor. I have been ordering from this place numerous times. Restaurant is average size and always full. I have my food delivered even though I’m 12 miles away.

I was craving Mole and heard that El Secreto de Abuela has a few Mole dishes. I went during lunch time and got the #21 Enchiladas De Mole to-go. When I got home the first thing I noticed was the food was STEAMING HOT, which I was both happy and surprised at since most take out food is room temp by the time I get home. The Enchiladas were fantastic, the mole was savory with a little kick to it. I will definitely be back!

Finally stopped by this little gem on my way to work and now it's my new go-to for breakfast tacos! They have a taco special, 3 tacos (no cheese, can add for extra) for 3.75 plus tax. This is fantastic because I had recently spent 9 on 3 breakfast tacos at another restaurant! The flour tortillas are soft and fluffy and the tacos are packed! I really like their verde salsa, it's a medium hot with a creamy consistency. I also have called in my order everytime and they have it ready within 10 minutes each time. They offer both Spanish and English when ordering over the phone and they have really great customer service always friendly and welcoming when I stop by in the morning! I will definitely continue stopping by to pick up delicious breakfast tacos!

Very traditional Mexican place. Every dish I’ve ever had from here is great. The atmosphere is what you’d want here. The locations out of the way unless you’re a local who lives in east Austin but all around this place is fantastic
